What we really need is Americans who will work rather Anglo, Espanic, Asian, or Native American, including Indian and Muslim. It seems that, as soon as any race or ethnic group becomes American citizens, they all demand a high paying job with a PC on their desk, with a padded chair; so they can surf the internet. I am afraid that America peaked in the Fifties with the so-called “Greatest Generation”. It has lost its work ethic. It has lost its religious faith. America is doomed.

After the first quarter, it appears to be over with the Lobos takings up where we left off last year….Coach, did you leave some of the team in Albuquerque? Pretty bad beating…Did you have them ready? Are you sure?…..I think you may be better at boxing…or wrestling…..Pretty bad coach, really!!!!!

When strawberries (or whatever) are ready they need to be picked. When our citizen will not do it we need someone who will. We need legal entry for migrant farm work who will work.

So! American citizens do not want to pick strawberries! If they don’t, then I say let them starve. Making the excuse that America needs illegal laborers simply because Americans are too lazy and obese to work is a poor excuse for letting people enter this country illegally. One has only to watch the telecast of a typical football game this season to see obese, lazy Americans in their padded stadium seats cheering from a resting position because of an inability to get our of their padded chairs. It already looks like Rome at the coliseum in the latter period of its days of glory. America is already there when it must bring in our own version of slaves from south of the border to harvest our strawberries. I prefer to harvest my own simply because I do not trust the Mexicans or corporate agriculture to do it for me. I say to Americans, “If you want salmanella, then go ahead and encourage Mexicans and corporate agriculture to harvest all of your produce.” It is as simple as that. If you don’t want salmanella, do it yourself.

Perhaps the people around Eugene should spend some of that Obama Stimulus money, Then they will have a decent stadium, less unemployment, and fewer irate fans. Go Loboes! Here is your chance to pull off an early season upset. Even Arkansas, the second poorest state in the nation, has better than a 54,000 seat stadium. That sounds like the stadium of Denny in Tuscaloosa when I was attending school there back in the Dark Ages when the Greatest Generation (and the Greatest Coach) were running the show.

Ole Pete really has a way with words. You certainly don’t make it sound real good for San Jose State. Alot of people up around San Jose and the Bay Area may be somewhat upset if they read your blog. Nevertheless, it is probably true. This is the mark of a good writer. Stick to the truth, and let the bombs fall where they may. Write untruth, and those bombs tend to fall from whence they came. Go Bama!
