I think of Ghost Busters and who you gonna call? when I think of the election facing the American people in 2016. There will only be two choices, I reckon, but sometimes we have a third party running. They have never faired very well. I am wondering though if this year it might be different. I don’t like the way things are going presently either for the Republicans or Democrats. Picturing either of the two front runners of both parties on the world stage is scary to me. I think one of them would not stand up for America when action is called for and the other would put America in jeopardy with knee jerk reactions under those same conditions. So if the independents can come up with a good’un, I would probably vote for him/her. Our mindset in todays America is “what can you do for me” without regard to what it does to our economy is scary. There are so many citizens with their hands out that running the government and military, it is mind boggling providing funds. What happened to “One nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for all?” It is not justice to rob from the rich, those who have worked hard and accumulated much, to give it to those who will not work. And the “Republic for which it stands?”. The Communist probably won’t run a candidate this year as the Democratic party has them covered. And a good independent would not have anyone in congress to work with, so that will not work either…. Well, good luck. It ain’t looking good, is it?…… So, who you gonna call?…

March madness is over…The games this year were something else. Some teams got a delight out of ruining my brackets, but they were fun to watch….but, it’s over for this year….Football is a few months away, but we have the draft coming up. That’s always fun. Well, we got golf. The Master’s is always great. What a beautiful course….and the announcers lowering their voices always help me get to sleep, a real soothing effect and the special effects boys seem to always back up and replay the good shots, so you don’t miss much. Then there are a few fishing and hunting show…AND BASEBALL…I just can’t really get warmed up to baseball….When Cody Ross and Shane Andrews were playing, both Carlsbad, NM boys, I watched them with interest, but with them gone I failed to get excited with any team or players. I’m sure they are out there I just don’t know them. Sometimes a story about a player will get me going, but not in a long time. So while I wait on football, college and pro, I’m channel surfing. Trying to find my interest. Is American Pickers a sport? Well, I like them. You know, climbing over mountains of junk to find that gem is exciting for me. So, I guess it’s American Pickers. They are a good year round pick.

About this time last year I said goodbye to Kayle, who graduated from UNM School of Dental Hygiene. And today, I said goodbye to Maria, who graduates in June, 2016. It is kind of sad to see these girls go, in a way, but in another way they are now out in the world making a very good living, being excellent citizens, and contributing to our economy. I believe Maria told me my Hygienist would be Kayle (a different Kayle) next fall. I appreciate the school allowing the girls to get practical experience on old codgers like me. Maria said today that the experience they gain working on all the different teeth and mouths are very valuable to them all. She says most all of us clients are so different with teeth and mouth variations, all with different problems so there is stuff to be learned from each one. Well, I am glad to be a small part of that learning experience. Anyway, good luck Maria and God Bless you on your journey in life. Thank you for sharing some of it with me.

“F**k off! It’s enough that I have to see you shit-kickers every day, I’m not going to talk to you too!! Just do your G*damn job and keep your mouth shut.”
(From the book “American Evita” by Christopher Anderson, p. 90 – Hillary to her State Trooper bodyguards after one of them greeted her with “Good morning.”
Stay the f**k back, stay the f**k away from me! Don’t come within ten yards of me, or else! Just f**king do as I say, Okay!!!?”
(From the book “Unlimited Access”, by Clinton FBI Agent in Charge, Gary Aldrige, p. 139 – Hillary screaming at her Secret Service detail.)

Man, this guy Arellances fired a hate filled letter to the University of New Mexico President in today’s Albuquerque Journal, March 21 2016, over the firing of the women’s basketball coach Yvonne Sanchez. It sounds like LULAC is something akin to a white version of the KKK. In the letter he said, “I don’t like that our tax dollars go to a bunch of lame White coaches, White Athletic Director and frankly, a White UNM President who doesn’t give a rats ass about our community of New Mexico. You and your white cronies must be held accountable and Fired. I will be speaking to the press about this today and calling for your removal once and for all”!……Sounds like a very decent sort, huh? I really don’t know why he did not say what was really on his mind instead of beating around the bush…..Which is kind of you white folks get out and let us good guys run the show. This letter really make me wonder about the objective of this organization. It certainly does not promote the Hispanic people and most of the Hispanics I know will most probably take exception to the wording of this letter also. I do not know Mr. Arellanes, but with his attitude I don’t think I want to know him. I don’t think Coach Sanchez will appreciate the letter either.

I have written to Sports Speak to voice an opinion, once in a while and I may have been published a time or two. Critics of Lobo sports, and a few fans write about what sorry coaches we have and on occasions named players by name as to their downfall and poor play. Some do praise the coaches and programs as well. This year in particular, Coach Neal has been a target as has his son, Cullen. I think that allowing writers to name names should not be acceptable by the Journal. Especially when its the coaches son. Neither of them deserved the treatment they have received especially by that section of the paper. I am very disappointed in the sports editor for allowing it to happen…..A few years ago I allowed a person to sound off on my web site, saying things I would have never said and my son came down on me about it. I mentioned that I allowed people to state their opinion as they had that right. He mentioned that it is certainly alright for a person to have their own opinion but I did not have to let them say it on my front porch. These mean-spirited critics of Lobos sports hurt our teams, basketball, football or any other sport, by running down the program, coach, or director of our school. Am I saying negative opinions should not be allowed? No, I’m saying that the Sports Editor of the Journal should do a better job of culling out the evil sounding comments of some letter writers. I think that, in part, has cost us a fine basketball player next year.

The top 5 countries to visit my web site are as follows and in the order of their ranking….France, United States, Ukraine, Canada, Israel. …This is the first time that France has visited this strong and I am certainly not sure I have written anything that would promote the visits. However, that is ok, I’m glad to have them coming by….Matter of fact, I’m am thankful for all you folks who take the time to visit my site. I appreciate it very much. Remember on this site, thanks is my only pay, and you visiting this site it a big “thank you” from you to me in my eyes. …I checked my ranking among world wide sites the other night, there are over 8 million, I just don’t know how many over 8 million there are…could be 10 million or more. Anyway, this report said sites could vary in ranking month to month depending on the writings and keywords that pulled in the visitors. My ranking they said was 5, 324,000, thereabouts. It kind of made me feel badly until I thought about me being in the middle of the pack. That site said I could pay them some money and they could improve my ranking right away….That’s ok…5,324,000 ain’t all that bad.

We bought a new recliner…A lazy boy…Our old one was about 10 years old and had served us well. We bought this new one and the sales person said that they would not haul the old one off. We asked if the delivery crew would move the old one to the garage. Yes, of course, was the reply, so I did not seek help to move it. When the delivery crew got here they said , no we are not suppose to move your chair. If we do there will be an extra charge. Well sir, I have a pretty quick temper at times and today was one of them. I uttered a few expletives and grabbed the chair and started moving it by myself. Only thing, that wasn’t too smart as I have a 50 pound weight limit due to by-pass surgery and a second surgery to repair broken tie around my rib cage several months later because I lifted a mattress….. One of the crew did help me get it through the door and a couple of time when I got caught on something trying to drag the chair. If Lazy Boy had told me up front that there was a charge or that the crew would not help I would have arranged for someone to help me. So, if you are buying from Lazy Boy, you better make sure you know all the things they are going to charge you for. And you cannot even pay them to haul off the old one, keep that in mind. You might want to compare shop for your next recliner…..
