45th President of the United States….

Posted by Pete | Posted in News | Posted on 17-09-2015

Have you thought about the name of the 45th President of the United States….In thinking about those running….We could have another President Bush or President Clinton…we could have but I don’t think so…Do you? I like Jep Bush and I am sure he is a good man, I just don’t think he will get elected…not now, maybe later…..President Clinton, I think her run in politics is over…you can fool some of the people some of the time, well, you know that story….so on to the next prospects…President Trump…I don’t think we have ever had a president that was about ego, have we? He does have some pretty good ideas, but the others have picked up on it or already had it, so the ego will do him in…Sorry sir, I don’t think so…President Ted Cruz..hum, well, could be pretty good and pretty solid, especially in the southwest, but probably not nation wide…President Scott Walker…nope, Midwest may go for him but not nation wide either…President Ben Carson…he is cool, a good thinker, smart, good ideas and black and he does not seem to be racist either….President Carly Fiorina, same for her….smart, quick thinker, experienced in leading, woman and a pretty woman…so she would be a good one….I think it will come down to Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson and maybe Rubio in the Republican race before trimming down to the one person to face the democratic candidate. I did not say, President Rubio, although I like him and like the way he presents himself and his ideas, I just don’t see him in the race…..I think it will be Carly Fiorina running against Hilary Clinton….and if so, Carly will blow her away…..Okay, presenting the 45th President of the United States of American, President Carly Fiorina…..Our Big Momma….45 tries before we got one….Big Momma….Hilary can’t handle that title….Carly can…

Dear Mr. Webmaster,

You just might be making a mistake by selling the Donald short. He came across as just a little boisterous in the Fox debate, and he had a few run-in’s with Megan Kelley, but he appeared to have calmed just a little last night in the CNN debate, analyzing and listening to the other candidates and being a little more careful in what he said. All of this just goes to show that the Donald is capable of learning, adjusting, and developing. Most of all, the Donald is different from all the other candidates, having no political\government experience but with a an entire career of successful private sector\business experience that places him in a category, unique in this nation’s history, all by himself. America has had no other in its entire history. I believe, at this time in American history when there is so much disenchantment across this land about the future and viability of our system of government, the country is ready to try something new in order to save it. That leaves out Baby Bush, who is part of the same old Republican Establishment. That leaves out Ted Cruz, who is Canadian and constitutionally unqualified. Who wants another unconstitutional President after Obama? That leaves out Scott Walker, who is a college drop out. Who wants a President who was too busy running for student office to complete the required courses to graduate? That leaves out Dr. Ben Carson, who was a fine surgeon and who can lead a team of 25 surgeons in order to separate Siamese twins, but Siamese twins do not occur all that often to separate. What the country needs is a skilled Lyndon Baines Johnson of the 21st century who can, and is willing to crack heads, twist arms, and manhandle Congressmen in order to get things done in the Congress. Now this is what I see that the Donald is capable of doing. He will twist sufficient arms in the Congress to pass the kind of legislation that is needed to fix this country’s problems without killing the constitution by going around it as the current President has been doing. That also leaves out pretty Carly, who is a pretty and successful lady, but who left HP in a real mess. After working her way to the top among a sea of bright male executives, she failed to position HP for the future. There is a limit on what any company can do with just printers alone. HP was already on the top in printer and personal computer sales, but she failed to position her company to compete in the changing computer market: the smart phones, the compact, specialty computers, and the user friendly computerized gadgets that are rapidly taking over our world in the 21st century. As IBM went under as it lost the mainframe computer market as the 20th century closed, Carly allowed HP to essentially go under as it lost the personal computer market. As a result, HP has recently announced the layoff of 30,000 people company wide. Too bad Carly is not around to be among that 30,000. Carly, though highly qualified, is not the President that we need for these times. The Donald might not go any higher than 40% in the polls, but he can’t lose. If he never becomes President, he will thoroughly shake up the political process in this country in order to place truth, and not political correctness, back in the process. Personally, I would like to give the Donald the chance, just because he is unique and is perhaps just what the country needs. My favorite choice is the Rev. Mike Huckaby, but we all know where Christians, much less preachers, stand in our culture in the 21st century. Graduating from tiny Ouachita Baptist University, which almost no one outside of Arkansas has even heard of, most people across this land, at least outside of the South, consider him illiterate. His positions on Christianity, religion, marriage, and errant religious practices, though noble and correct, will kill his chances of ever being elected to any government position higher than that of the governor of a state. Sorry Mike! You may as well go back to serving a Church.

I can appreciate your position….I can disagree with your position….By the way, on Quachita Baptist University…I had a friend who recently passed away. I met one of his grandson’s at the funeral who graduated this year from there….Very fine young man…Your opinion is always welcome here, but a lot of the time, it varies from those of the webmaster….but that’s ok…thanks for your comments. Oh, by the way, one of my all time favorite Dallas Cowboys, Cliff Harris, also graduated from Quachita Baptist..They built a new stadium there lately and named it Cliff Harris Statium….

You have connections with Arkansas. You would have heard of Ouachita. I first heard of Ouachita Baptist when I was a student in Wake Forest, N.C. because I had two professors who graduated from there, but the point is that Ouachita has no tremendous endowment like a Harvard or Yale. It has no huge overwhelmingly influential alumni that can propel a particular candidate forward as influential Yale alumni did Bill Clinton. The bottom line, because of this, is that Huckaby has little chance in national politics other than riding the coat tails of someone more influential. It’s sad, but I’m afraid that his outspoken Christianity is a detriment as well.
