New Mexico National Guard on Mexican Border

Have you been following the stories coming in from southern New Mexico and Arizona? It is scary. Does the nation of Mexico not have any people to patrol the borders? Mexicans came into Columbus, NM lately and tied up an elderly couple and stole their car. They were later caught and they did not hurt the elderly couple, thank goodness. Then day before yesterday, a rancher on Arizona’s southern border was killed. He had just callled his brother on his cell phone stating he had encountered some illegal aliens and needed help. When help arrived, they found the rancher dead. Today’s paper stated Governor Richardson had sent in some National Guard Troops…The paper did not state how many, but I certainly hope it is enough to protect our citizens in that area….I know our Border Patrol people are doing everything they possibly can to deter illegal entry across our southern border….. It is miles and miles of isolated territory but once the Apaches were rounded up in 1888 things have been safe for our citizens in that area….. Now, maybe we need some more Buffalo Soldiers assigned down that way, reckon?

Keep telling that history:
Read the novel, Rescue at Pine Ridge, “RaPR”, where Buffalo Bill Cody meets a Buffalo Soldier. A great story of black military history…the first generation of Buffalo Soldiers.
How do you keep a people down? ‘Never’ let them ‘know’ their history.
The 7th Cavalry got their butts in a sling again after the Little Big Horn Massacre, fourteen years later, the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. If it wasn’t for the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, there would of been a second massacre of the 7th Cavalry.
Read the novel, “Rescue at Pine Ridge”, 5 stars Amazon, Barnes & Noble and the youtube trailer commercial…and visit the website http://www.rescueatpineridge.com
I hope you’ll enjoy the novel. I wrote it from my mini-series movie of the same title, “RaPR” to keep my story alive. Hollywood has had a lot of strikes and doesn’t like telling our stories…its been “his-story” of history all along…until now. The movie so far has attached, Bill Duke directing, Hill Harper, Glynn Turman and a host of other major actors in which we are in talks with…see imdb.com at; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0925633/
When you get a chance, also please visit our Alpha Wolf Production website at; http://www.alphawolfprods.com and see our other productions, like Stagecoach Mary, the first Black Woman to deliver mail for Wells Fargo in Montana, in the 1890’s, “spread the word”.
Peace.
Yes, it is some history, the effects of which are certainly still felt today by many groups, all across the land. The his-story in not only of the Buffalo Soldier but also of the Apaches..Thanks for writing me.
In reply to Dougles, thanks for writing, I appreciate it..Please drop me a line in English and I will be happy to review your comments for posting. We certainly need both Mexico and The United States to be working together on this problem, don’t you think? Pete
