Well, I did’nt really read Mr. Navarrette today, kinda of skimmed his article and it made a lot more sense that way. He was talking about kids of illegals and getting their education and staying in the USA, many of them living their entire lives in the US. I don’t want to do anything to hurt anyone, you know what I mean, but on the other hand where do you stop?…Well, I said I wasn’t going to read him and I didn’t, much…well, not real good…but he did have his e-mail address back at the end of the article…but, if I inherit a stolen car, it is still a stolen car….Right?
Skimming is the way to read the news in all newspapers, not just Mr. Navarrette, with the possible exception of the sports pages, particularly where Alabama football is concerned. In terms of the TV news, it is often better just to keep surfing before one’s mind is really blown.
If it is good enough for Bill Clinton, it is good enough for me. Old Bill is a speed reader, but his comprehension often is not so good.
