Addlepated…1.being mixed up..CONFUSED…2. ECCENTRIC….I was going to write that I had found my problem….Mixed up, ….naw, that’s not me….Confused, naw, not really….I know pretty much what I want, etc….Under eccentric the dictionary says, “see strange”….now we are getting somewhere….Did you ever feel a little addlepated? Strange? I remember a few times when the first sarge told me everyone was out of step but me….Well, it happens…You know what I mean…But folks, if you’re like me you also realize that after a while everybody else will catch up, huh?…If a fellow waits a little bit, everything works out…know what I mean, Vern?….
What a word? I’m surprised that O’reilly hasn’t come up with it; but, then, it is probably not a word that an Irish Yankee from Bostom would be concerned about.
I wish those TI’s at Lackland would have followed your line of reasoning; but, then, that would have been reasonable. A training instructor had to be unreasonable to do his job.
