Did you read in this morning paper about the Border Patrol Agent riding home from El Paso to Las Cruces on his motorcycle….He hit a stray dog out on the interstate and wrecked. A fellow in a Dodge Ram stopped in the nick of time to avoiding hitting him. The fellow got out of the pickup, checked to see if the agent was still alive, I reckon, then got back into his pickup and proceeded ….Yes, he did, he ran right over the agent with his pickup….take that border patrol he said…..gosh, what’s up with that…there are some cold blooded people in this world, huh….This was a gringo, evidently a bad-a– dude…..The agent has survived so far…yesterday was not a good day for him….I hope they catch the guy in the Dodge Ram….He is mean….

I haven’t read the newspaper article, but did this incident happen near the border town where a gang was operating that had a vendetta out against the police? It seems like there must be more to it than just some police-hating “nut” in a Dodge Ram. I don’t know the name of the border town, but it appears that the gang was setting traps for the police and then calling 911. Anyway, there must be more to this story than the Albuquerque Journal is letting out, for example drugs, gang activity, or gorilla warfare. It might be another case of the Media changing the story by adjusting the facts. We all know that The Albuquerque Journal is fairly liberal, Democrat-leaning, and biased in favor of the Obama Administration. It always has been fairly liberal. I first realized that fact when I was reading it regularly in 1968 when George Corley Wallace made his first presidential run.
The old Albuquerque Constitution was always much better in reporting the facts in an unbiased manner, but we all know what happened to it. Its demise may be an omen for the good ole USA if current trends continue. The same thing happened in Little Rock at about the same time. I wonder how many other places around the country where it is happening. The country may be on an unstoppable downhill trend towards information control and subsequent loss of freedom.
The Constitution was before my time. When we first came up here there were two, the Albq Journal and the Albq Tribune. That’s all I know about…Pete
