Football post missing?

Dang, I don’t know what to say about football….Alabama going strong. The Arkansas game should be a good one. ..Wisconsin doing ok, still winning….Arizona doing real good this year…Utah still kicking butts….Air Force looking pretty good but Landry Jones and Oklahoma side tracked them for at least one game…Dallas Cowboys can’t win…New Mexico Lobos are, what?…I feel bad for them, but no need to try and make excuses as all three teams to beat them were top notch teams…Oregon, Texas Tech and Utah…the Lobos and UNLV are tied for last place, so I am hoping for our Coach to get his second win with the team…That would be nice Coach…try not to get down to much…You have to keep on going….You have some good boys and they will come around……I hope, maybe, well, I am sure they will, won’t they?….I feel real strong about my uncertainty in the matter…
Don’t feel bad for the Loboes. The Loboes are progressing along the same track they been on for years, running that funny looking ball up and down that cow pasture with no rhyme, reason, and without purpose. They still represent a great school. There are some great professors there teaching some great skills. The UNM where I took classes in order to pass the time of duty to Uncle Sam is still accomplishing much in spite of a winless football team. Praise the Loboes! The football team will one day come up against a team even sorrier than they are. Then, they will make up for lost time.
I don’t think you followed Lobo football a couple of years prior to our new coach arrival. We had about six or seven straight winning seasons, went to several bowl games and were very competitive in football for a spell. We will return as Lobo nation got used to winning during that period and will expect more of the same….We are still a good school and will remain such in my opinion….Mike Leach, former coach at Texas Tech, is already being talked up as a replacement for our present coach even though he is still employed. I think he will eventually win a few games this year….
Sure I did. I’ve followed the Loboes off and on since 1965. They have had a few winning seasons, but mostly losing ones. At any rate, I was mostly making light of their current situation. Quite frankly, I have never really followed football that much, not even Alabama football. The best description of football is still the famous one by Andy Griffith, which I have applied to the experience on watching my first soccer game on the UNM campus. The Loboes will bounce back, but the ball don’t really have to bounce very high when it is in the ditch to seem like it is bouncing high.
