Coach Locksley is still employed, as far as I know, and yet some quarters are already talking up Mike Leach as the replacement for him…I don’t think that is a right way to handle the present situation as it just makes for more turmoil for the team and coaches…They know they need to win and the coaches are already paid for this season, the team is already set, so let’s make the best of it…We have played three very tough opponents so far, Oregon, Texas Tech and Utah…Losing to those three is not a surprise to anyone…The lopsided score is the big concern, right?…And we have 16 inexperienced players and every week we see an improvement in all of them….How about it Lobo nation, lets back our team, the one we now have…..bitching and complaining helps no one….Go Lobos….
I think perhaps we should ‘rally the Hester troops’ and head out for some Lobo football; one of the home games of course. It appears they will be at home 10/2, 10/23, 11/6 and 11/27… any of the first 3 would work for me. I think we should narrow it down, get the guys (and any gals that want to attend) together and make it a date!
Well, lets see if we can put it together, ok? If we win at UNLV I will be all for it….One more lopsided loss just might do me in, but we will see…hopefully we will win one and jump start all of us, huh?….
