This Ruben Navarrette, Jr. fellow really gets under my skin…He is continually trying to stir up trouble….Republicans do not like immigrants he says….Totally wrong, we love immigrants….We dislike law breakers, Mr. Navarrette, repeat, law breakers…..What’s more, you know that and ignore that fact….Stirring the hatred is all you are doing….I am a republican…I do not hate Latinos….I have many, many friends who are of Mexican descent…Most of them seem to like me. Please learn that there is a difference between an immigrant and a illegal alien, big difference…In my opinion, you appear the bigot, sir…America welcomes legal immigrants…..Always have, always will….

What’s a Republician? I go on the Albuquerque Journal website often, and I’ve never seen any reference to a Republician. Perhaps it is because I place the Albuquerque Journal in the same class as the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Both are democratic newspapers. Both require that I subscribe before I can read any of their lousy news articles on line. Too bad! I’ve always been told that a newspapers cost to the reader all goes to the poor delivery boy who gets up at 4 o’clock in the morning and trudges, rain or shine, through muck, mud, and snow to deliver the news to the awaiting reader. All I can get from these two newspapers websites are meaningless headlines with no meat. Give me the Tuscaloosa News any day. It may be New York Times owned, but their website is democratically available to all, whether one subscribes or not. Of course, their website may flash a thousand advertisements at the poor reader before the meaty article appears. As for Ruben Navarrette, Jr., he is okay as long as one understands where he is coming from. After all, he writes for the Washington Post and the San Diego Union-Tribune. One must take the writings of such people with a grain of salt.

And the Albuquerque Journal carries him…I think he gets his drivers license renewed in New Mexico….
