Man, I sure hope I haven’t started something…No 2 grand daughter really loves Alabama. She has gone on about how green and pretty it is since our arrival. I mean I am certainly glad that she likes it but not so much that she will want to stay….I’ll keep her out in the heat of the day if she gets to liking it too much….I am kidding, of course, I am glad she is pleased and I look forward to showing her around Pickens County and especially Coal Fire…I hope you can still drive down close to Coal Fire Creek as I would like for her to stick her feet in that cold water for two or three minutes…I don’t know that may be considered mean to do that remembering how dang cold that water is. Anyway, we are here and looking forward to an evening with Nephew and family tonight…We are trying out a new restaurant (to us anyway)tonight and we will let you know who it is….Seafood…sounds good as I have been eating lots of Mexican…… Pete

You will have to bring her back every time you come. She is such a delight, and I just fell in love with her.
Thanks, Sandra, KJH really enjoyed herself in everything we did.Nephew took us out on Lake Tuscaloosa Sunday afternoon and what a wonderful time we had. The homes around that lake are so big and beautiful…Then he fed us a wonderful meal Sunday night…KJH had her very first fried green tomato and she is still bragging on Mrs. Nephew’s fried okra….and bragging on Mrs. Nephew’s fresh green beans….What a meal Mrs. Nephew prepared..Wow….But thanks to you Sandra and all the other cousins for the great reception each of you gave KJH…She loved the get together….
If Mrs. Nephew is the lady I know and love so very much, I have never eaten anything she cooked that should not be bragged on — all of it is delicious!!! She is a very special lady as is Mr. Nephew. I am very glad you and Karrah were able to visit us Sunday. Zoey told her Dad and Mom all about the visit. She really liked Karrah!
And we really liked Zoey….A very sweet, pretty and arm load of girl…What a special smile she has, huh? and yes, the Mrs. Nephew is who you are thinking. I hate to give names without approval so I use the No. 1 and No. 2 and Nephew and all the other stuff you read from time to time. But yes, the woman can cook, a great cook, a wonderful cook….Mr. Nephew did the steaks and he ain’t too shabby, I can tell you that…
