Our cousin Doug is married to Kitty van der Linde…Did you know Kitty established the Garden City Ballet Company, Missoula, MT in 1984? And did you know that in her production of The Nutcracker that the dancers wore wooden shoes, real wooden shoes, I think she had sixty pairs of the darn things clodding around. Can you imagine? Bet that was noisy…. You can goggle Kitty van der Linde and read the whole write up on the lady…It’s kinda neat. And Kitty still looks like she could take to the stage and do some of those dad-gum what-cha-call-it moves, well, you know, tippy toes and such….well, I don’t know the names of those A la Second and a-da-go and arabb-es-que and pier-etts or all those things…But anyway, I’ll bet she could still do them, huh, Kitty?…. I’m proud of her being in the mist of us cousins of Coal Fire, Alabama…..

Didn’t know this, glad I got to meet her. And call her one of us.
Yeah, nice huh?
Now we know what ole Doug was doing during all of those years he was running around Montana presumably following the pipelines in the quest for a buck. It wasn’t all work after all. I am happy for Kitty, though; and for Doug in his good luck in finding her in the vast wonderland of Montana. Montana is a big place with a big sky. Incredibly good luck must be required to find such a person in the vastness of Montana. The Bonner family can certainly stand more talent, especially in the area of dancing. My wife and I do a little ballroom dancing; but, for me, it is a stretch. She even enjoys doing the Hawaiian hula occassionally.
Yeah, our boy Doug did ok….
Thank you Pete for writing such complimentary things about me.!! And yes… I was so very lucky to find mty sweetie-pie in the vast land off Montana.!! reunion, I would love to come but at this point it is not looking too good. We will see but I hope that you and Doug can make it and know you will all have a good time. Thanks for coming by. Pete
