Arkansas will keep it interesting until late in the fourth quarter, then the Tide pulls away from the Hogs, probably like 24 – 17….No. 1 GD will hate me, but Arizona is gonna lose again this week, Oregon by two touchdowns…..Sou Cal beats up on Arizona St……BYU might can beat UCF, we will see….Baylor cooks Rice this week….LSU beats West Virginia…San Diego St takes Michigan, Rocky beats his old boss…Nebraska beats Wyoming…Texas Tech beats Nevada…New Mexico beats Sam Houston St. I think, well, I hope, maybe we can…New Mexico St lost their quarterback last week but they should still be able to beat San Jose St. ..Oklahoma beats Missouri…Okla St beats Texas A & M, pretty sure A & M is favored but Okla St does them in….another upset, Vandy beat South Carolina…….South Dakota plays tough for a quarter but cannot hangs on as Wisconsin wins big…Back to the University of New Mexico for a second….The Lobos have to win the next three games (Sam Houston, NM St, Nevada) for Coach Locksley to have any hope of hanging on to his job at New Mexico. After that it is TCU, Air Force, San Diego St, UNLV, WY, and Boise St) He has to win six to stay I think, UNLV and Wyoming he might can win. So that would be five…..Can he beat Air Force? I don’t think so…..We play the games to see who will win them, so it is not over, however, it ain’t looking good is it???

If I was Coach Locksley, I would be working on my resume. In Coach Locksley’s case, I don’t know who would have him, but there may be a good high school somewhere in need of a good coach. I read in the Journal that Coach Henry Sanchez recently died. Perhaps Coach Locksley can try for an opening at Bernalillo High, NM Highlands, or Robertson High. Of course, he may have to change over to basketball to do so. Who knows? Basketball may be an improvement for him.
Coach Locksley is probably a good assistant coach but he is not head coach material in this area of hard to get recruits.
