Thanksgiving in Tucson….How nice….The food was wonderful and plentiful, very conducive for an old fat boy like me to add a few more pounds. I did…..We not only had a Thanksgiving meal they gave me a Happy Birthday meal with coconut cake and sang happy birthday and expected me to blow out sev……a few candles. I got one on the first try, did better on the second try. Several nice gifts that I will put to good use….My son in law took me to the football game Saturday between Arizona and University of Louisiana, Lafayette. These seats were in the sky box and he had a parking pass that parked us in the shadows of the elevators that took us up to this very nice area of free popcorn, cokes, cookies and a buffet…..did I say free….well, somebody was paying big time, but for yours truly…..free…..Looking down on the little people was enjoyable for a change….Now don’t jump on me, as normally I’m amongst the little people, but Saturday I was sitting with the big money folks….What great seats, on the forty yard line, 150 feet up, or thereabouts. I would like to thanks John and Nancy for the tickets, though given to my son in law, he shared with me and I got to enjoy the game. Arizona won…. That was so nice of you, John and Nancy….42 stuff, lots of 42 stuff….We had some great games, too. Sweetie and I used to rule the roost, now we have a hard time beating any of our Arizona kin….My grand daughter learned to play when she was about seven years old, now twenty or so years later she is kicking her grandma and grandpa’s butt, but we swapped teams around some to keep from losing all the time. Daughter and son in law ain’t bad either. Grandson in law is coming on pretty good. We had to start him from scratch. He plays golf, which is ok, only thing, it does not help him with 42.

Boy! I didn’t know I had such a rich cousin. I bet those seats were padded, cushioned, and with a armrest too. It must be different to watching a football game on hard, board seats (although nowadays they are probably made out of hard plastic). We watched the razorbacks lose to LSU at my brother’s house last Friday. We did have cushioned seats, but we had to watch it through the “tube”.
Cushioned seats, arm rests, plenty wide, tv’s above our heads to watch other games of interest. 68 degrees at game time dropping to 61 about the time the game was over. Beautiful weather also, all weekend….Nice in Arizona, let me tell you….
