Ooops, we have had a slight change in the amount of fuel, er, spilled, at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. It was only 8,000,000 gallons last time we talked…..Today, they are saying it may be more like 24,000,000 million gallons….Our whiskey and water really may pack a punch someday…probably sooner than later and we may be hearing more about, “but don’t drink the water”…We are really short on water around in these parts, but I wonder if augmenting it with jet fuel is a good idea…..Mr. President, don’t close our base until the jet fuel situation is taken care of, ok?…..It’s always something, ain’t it…its always something. Feed Kirtland ABF Fuel Spill into my search engine to see the prior stories I had posted on this….Pete Hester

Wow! I’d start my own service station if I had that much gasoline. It is too bad it wasn’t a water leak. The high desert around Kirtland would now be green. That would make everyone happy.
