I am always mentioning my sons and some of you may wonder if I have any daughters. Well, my wife, my daughters and my grand daughters have cautioned me about using their names, pictures, etc, etc, or you are gonna get in big trouble Pete/Dad/Paps…..I don’t think they would shoot me, but I don’t want to push the issue. But they all are very beautiful, kind, sweet and adorable girls. I love them so much and would like to discuss each one of them here….well, it ain’t gonna happen..so just forget it…this is as close as I will come to talking about them. One of them had a birthday yesterday. I spoke with her via phone as she lives in a distant city and wished her a Happy Birthday and told her how special she was, but she is the one who told me if I put a picture of her on this blog that we were going to fist city…well, she didn’t say it quite like that, but I got her meaning, and she is a beautiful girl and takes excellent pictures…You just gotta believe me here folks as a picture will not be forthcoming…..I love you girls….Pete/Dad/Paps (a couple of them will have a little to do with the web site, huh?

Thanks for speaking about a very beautiful, wonderful person that I love dearly. Phee
You are very welcome. She has voiced her concern about the subject in no uncertain terms. So, I respect that. Love you both….The Blogmaster….?????
With everyone carrying smartphones that take still and motion pictures with a touch of a button, we have all gotten so relaxed around pictures as to almost expect them, but computers will still take prose: beautiful, glowing prose. If the fairer members of your family get upset over pictures (and that is okay and natural), just write beautiful, glowing prose about them, and I bet everyone will be happy. I do not like seeing my ugly mug spread across the TV screen and picture formats either, but I do enjoy seeing my name in print especially when it is accompanied by glowing words of beauty and praise. Writing beautiful prose requires a little more work on the part of the writer than downloading picures and movies, most of which do not measure up to the subjects best wishes and standards, but it is worth it in the long run because beautiful prose carries with it an excitement to stimulate the imagination of the subject which always paints the subject at his or her best disposition. I am only suggesting, as you leave off the pictures about your beautiful family, please continue to write beautiful prose that does a better job than pictures ever can. I bet they will like it. I enjoy seeing my name up in the lights, although I know it will never happen, but I can always (and will forever) imagine that I am the Errol Flynn of the Thirties and Forties. Yes! The very same one we find on those late night TV flicks.
If the Bible had been written in pictures, it would have died long ago. It is the very fact that it was written in beautiful, time-transcending prose containing a divine spark which allows it to speak freshly to every generation of every time, both collectively and individually. Prose excites and stimulates the imagination. Pictures are simply, “duh”, static, placing one’s characteristics and likenesses on paper and screen, leaving no room for improvement, and, certainly, leaving no room for the imagination.
Well, now, if I could only write…..thanks, Erroll
I loved the post about your ladies would like to secretly see them all. Love ya
Well, sorry but they get excited if I mention them on the blog and that is one of the reasons I never use names, KJH since she has been a guest writer is treated a little differently, however I still use caution there….Thanks for the comments.
