Gov. Martinez- Nothing to write about in New Mexico

Geez, Governor Bill has left the state capital and now we have nothing serious to write about. No scandals in the present adminstration, no money unaccounted for, no payola or mishandling of funds, no trips to Cuba or Korea, its quiet, very quiet Was any of that or all of that true? I know not, but we sure got lots of mileage out of it…Gov. Martinez is selling all the states aircraft and traveling over the states checking out our highways and keeping spending in check, visiting schools, chasing the crooks, minding the store. Has our present Lt. Governor ever spent a day in charge? I don’t think so. ….So, this is great and New Mexico’s constituency is happy, except for the democratics of course, but then that is to be expected. That all being said, its just kind of dull around Sante Fe…..That globe trotting son of a gun always had something going, giving us headline hunters something to write about, know what I mean….There was always something exciting to write about and most of the time in a fever pitch….Oh, well, so it goes….Dull is good….
Ps….that eleven million dollar computer that Bill bought, you know the third fastest in the world two or three years ago….Now its the 121st fastest in the world and Gov. Martinez is trying to sell it. It is housed at Intel and is not making the state any money, in fact it seems to be costing the state money to operate it. Need a computer? Well, call the Governor, she’ll fix you up……..

yes! you did an awesome job! the blog looks great. and a belated congratulations!
I wish Gov. Beebe would get on the phone to Gov. Martinez and sell her AASIS. NM will be all fixed up then. It will have a statewide computer system that has never worked right, will never work right, and has caused more cussing than even my Dad could do in his better moments, who didn’t have AASIS to worry about. I have only one piece of advice for Gov. Martinez. If Gov. Bill’s computer (the hardware) doesn’t work satisfactorily, don’t put AASIS on it because it will only make it worse.
If Gov. Beebe would just sale AASIS to Gov. Martinez, this would match up Bill”s (you know that other Bill called Clinton) lousy software with Bill’s (Richardson) lousy computer. This would be a marriage made in heaven to New Mexico’s misfortune.
If Bill only put 11 million dollars into his computer, then the hardware system alone must be all that he bought. If Intel still has it, then only limited software probably was included (like the operating system only). AASIS would cost much more than that. Arkansas put $50 million into AASIS years ago, and the cost is still growing almost as fast as Bill’s (Clinton) post-presidential wealth.
The eleven million is my number and may be erronous, but a bunch of money none the less. Anything over 7 digits for me to think about someone else spending is big bucks to me…..(I wasn’t very clear before)….All five of my dollars are securely invested….food stuff in the pantry…
My cousin must be wealthier than I thought. Anything over 4 digits is big bucks to me, especially when my wife goes shopping at the nearest Louis Vuiton store for purses.
