I could not find an action shot of this guy as he found the most rugged, difficult to access area he could find to do his fishing and since I was doing a lot of the photo taking, I was not about to follow him, however I did try several rocky bluffs. He is also the only one that caught a salmon. It was big enough for us all to have a good taste. Here he is ready to take off on one of his exploratory missions.

I’ve heard of rock gardens, rock painting, and dancing among the rocks, but this is my first time to learn about rock fishing. It must require a heap of imagination if he expects those rocks to bite a hook. Reeling it in thoush would be a heap of excercise. I hope he don’t imagine eating his catch.

In Alabama and Arkansas, the nemesis of a fisherman is catching logs and tree limbs. The nemesis of rock fishing must be catching rocks. Perhaps this would make him a rock hound.

check out some of the other photos on the site, however your point is well taken….

Sorry, I failed to notice the little bit of water in the picture until post-comment. At first, it looked as if he was standing in a “rock lake”.

There was miles of water out to the photographer’s right…..well, at least lots of water…It is a nice lake..
