Meredith Bennett-Smith says Tim Tebow is slated to speak at the controversial First Baptist Church of Dallas, TX, which she said is headed by a hate filled minister of the gospel, Rev. Robert Jeffress. Well, mam, you need to get out more because the message Rev. Jeffress is teaching is being taught across the country at churches every Sunday morning, and not just Baptist. You are invited to attend any one of those churches to get the low-down on all us hate filled Baptist and other Christians. To my knowledge, everyone of those fellows filling the pulpits say essentially the same thing and quote scripture, chapter and verse, from the bible. Baptist do not hate Jews, Mormons, or any other folks of a different belief, they simply say, “this is what the bible says” and then tell it like it is. Sorry if the shoe happens to fit. Some pastors say it in a way that is easier to swallow, but it is the same message. “Listen closely”, that’s how the Lord would say it. Of course, you know that He was a Jew, The King of the Jews” and He came to give salvation “first to the Jew and then to the Gentile”. Non-believing Jews or Gentiles are excluded from the Kingdom of Heaven per our Kings own words. Tim Tebow is trying to relay that same message to a lost generation. I don’t know you, but if you can make plans to attend that old “hate filled” church in April, hear the words that Mr. Tebow delivers and visit with some of the “hate filled” church goers (watch out, you may find them lovable) and then let us hear from you. Ok…Thanks for reading this post….Pete Hester

update: Ms. Bennett-Smith, apparently you talked Mr. Tebow out of attending the Dallas Church, however, I don’t think you stopped the message being spoken there. I am sure Rev. Jeffress will stay with his planned message so you still might ought to plan on being there. Breaking news, maybe…….Let me know…..Pete Hester

So, the First Baptist of Dallas is controversial now. Well! I must say to Ms. Bennett-Smith that the Church has always been controversial when it is doing its job. It is only when it becomes a liberal, “country club-like” organization professing meaningless words meant only to make people feel good that it becomes non-controversial. I bet that Tim Tebow’s message will be controversial too in the true spirit of the Christain message.

I recommend that a copy of this blog be sent directly to Ms. Bennett-Smith since these liberal writers never read conservative blogs or the conservative press. She may learn something. Lo and Behole! She might even get some of that truthful old fashioned religion that is not taught in the publically supported colleges and universities of this modern era. After all, the Supreme court, supreme only when one chooses to ignore God, removed God from these publically supported colleges and schools a long time ago.

I would not know how to contact Ms. Bennett-Smith and if I did it is very douthful she would read it. I got it off my chest and I appreciate you reading the post and responding. Hopefully a few others will also read it. Thanks, Errol……Pete
