Albuquerque Journal, Sunday June 8, 2014 article, “Mississippi, home to feds’ official marijuana stash by Evan Halper, Tribune Washington Bureau…Dateline Oxford, Mississippi….Inside a steel vault there are marijuana buds packed into thousands of baggies filed in bankers boxes. Fifty pound barrels are brimming with dried ready-to-smoke weed. Freezers are stocked with buckets of potent cannabis extracts. Large metal canisters sit, crammed full of hundreds of perfectly rolled joints. Even marijuana trash, contaminated garbage that thiefs might try to steal. …..It is the most impressive stockpile of marijuana and probably the most controversial…..What makes the cannabis here on the campus of University of Mississippi unique is that it is grown, processed and sold by the federal government. The stockpile represents the only source of pot allowed for researchers who want to conduct FDA-approved tests on using marijuana for medical purposes. …DEA must give the go ahead on any researchers using the stash……Now, this is me talking now, not the government or the University of Mississippi….One of the scientist down there says you have to smoke or chew the marijuana to get a hgh, only those entries into the human body will make you high…So he says…Now he is proposing a suppository form of the cannabis for medical purposes so folks will not be using it to get high…..How long, I ask, how long before that suppository is sugar coated and stuck on a stick and every college kid in American will be running around sucking on a suppository….Doctor, are you sure that’s what you want to do with that extract?….Well, don’t say I didn’t warn you……

I am happy that Mississippi is ahead and leading in something. It’s no wonder that they can no longer win football games down at Oxford. Everyone has a cannabis high.
Well, something is going on, for sure..
