The people at Kirtland Air Force Base still have not done anything to retrieve the 8 million gallons of spilled jet fuel that has reached the Albuquerque aquifer and is spreading toward the city wells. They have told the city that they would do this, and then that, and then something else and after numerous years of promises not one gallon, I say, not one gallon of the spill has been retrieved. WONDERFUL…..Tomorrow, we will take care of it tomorrow….and then tomorrow comes and they have a new base commander who will look into it and get back to us….WE ARE GETTING TIRED OF THE FALSE PROMISES, PEOPLE…. I guess you guys at the base are  planning to go back  east or wherever there is plenty of good clean water, huh….Well, its in short supply here and we need you to get off your butts and take care of business.  Do you hear us, Mr. Base Commander? Do we need to get our congressman to get off his duff and talk to you about it. What lights your fire, sir? The time has come…..You have your marching orders, Sir, now: FORWARD, MARCH…..
