When is a Classic, a Classic?

This is my 1987 Mazda Club Cab pickup. I have had it since 1988, buying it with a few miles on it. I take it out for a spin ever so often and to the dump on a trash run two or three times a year. Well, I think it is a classic now, 27 years old, runs great and every child that comes to visit me wants to pretend drive it. They have a great time playing in it. Surely it will be a classic by age thirty, huh? Well, maybe not….But I sure love it also…and maybe for the same reason the children do….

Uncle, I think it is a classic at 27 years… It really looks great!!!!
Thanks…But when does a car become a classic, do you know. Or is it a personal opinion? I don’t know. I think after 20 they become an antique, but I am not even sure about that. Guess I could goggle it, huh?
I think in Alabama, you can get an antique tag after 25…
