I once had a friend that most everyone looked up to and he could get people to do what he was doing or wanted to do so easily. I often wondered just how he could do that. It was a quality I never processed. I suppose it comes to a select few. Only a few of our President have had it and in spite of some of them not having it, seems America understood at those times when we had to follow the leader we had or simply just lose…So the American came around during that period and did what we had to do. Today we lack leadership, not only in the White House, but also in the Senate and Congress. It is a period of great weakness in our country and if we have many more conflicts, within or outside  our borders,  I am not sure we can survive. I hope we can redeem ourselves this next election, Democrats and Republicans, and find a select few who are able to lead and still have a servants mentality…Do they exist? I hope they still do….
