Son Jeff showing off a portion of our catch from Caddo Lake. We were not all that lucky on bass, we caught a few, but the catfish were very active.
This green stuff (Salvinia) is taking over Caddo Lake. They say they have a bug (a weevil actually) developed that will eat it. Still working on this weevil project so it remains to be seen it this weevil will work. Ummm, it must have a healthy appetite if it’s gonna eat all that.
They do keep channels open and have lots of open waters available. It is a very good place to fish and I hope they can make lots of headway to control the pesky stuff that is taking over the waters.
