Balloon Fiesta

The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta kicked off today. I understand there are to be 650 balloon entered this year. This morning at 7:45am I made a trip to my front yard to look east toward the mountains and the area of the balloons launching site….I saw one balloon..I guess the wind was taking them south. Usually we have balloon going over our house all morning, but not so today…It is a beautiful sight to see when all those balloons get in the air…Driving up I-25 between Albuquerque and Bernalillo there are balloons everywhere…You will have to come see us the first full week of October to witness this colorful event…It is worth the trip..
